This past Sunday, our team of volunteers spent the afternoon with our friends at Tampa Bay Downs raising funds to help the Step Ahead mission to rehabilitate and re-home retired racehorses.
They had a table set up with fun swag available including hats, pens, lens wipes, and custom made calendars and invited folks to come over and support SATB. We are so grateful for all the generous donations and were able to double the total of previous visits!
It was a fantastic day and we want to give a special thanks to our incredible volunteers, Milly and Becca, and also Debbie Dygert O'Connor. (Milly and Becca also volunteered at Step Ahead on Saturday bathing horses, cleaning stalls, and scrubbing buckets!)
It was great to see all the great folks that stopped by and we even met some potential volunteers and sponsors, too!
